Your Spiritual Needs

At Vincentian we respect the spiritual and cultural needs of each resident. Representatives of all denominations and religions are welcome to visit residents at any time and will be contacted for you by staff on request. We uphold the status of Maori and obligations of the Treaty of Waitangi
Family and friends are encouraged to support residents at religious services or gatherings.
Catholic Services
In keeping with the Catholic ethos of Vincentian Home and Hospital there are regular Catholic services held on the premises and at nearby St Joachim's Church. These include Mass:

| 1.45pm Wednesday | Vincentian lounge |
| 6pm Saturday | St Joachim's Church |
| 10am Sunday | Vincentian lounge |
| 10am Sunday, in Polish | St Joachim's Church |
There are visits each Friday afternoon by Sister Cecilia for devotions and to provide personal pastoral care for any resident on request.
Anglican Communion
Anglican Communion is conducted every second Monday at 1.30pm in Vincentian lounge.
