General

Bishop Snedden Village Picture

Twenty moderately priced well-constructed and maintained one or two bedroom units located in a quiet street in central Waikanae.

Each has a garage.

Handy to Waikanae Shopping Centre and to Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church.

Incoming residents are accepted regardless of religious creed.

Administrative

To obtain entry to the Village residents purchase an Occupation Right Agreement in the form of an unsecured Licence to Occupy. A memorial is registered against the land to protect and recognise the residents’ interests in the Village. The memorial protects the residents’ rights to occupy their Villas and enjoy the common areas and facilities of the village.

External unit maintenance is the responsibility of the Trust and funded by an economical monthly levy, which also covers services for lawns and shrubs.

Residents elect 2 representatives to the Trust’s Waikanae Committee, which meets every few months.

Support

Community support provided by Sister Barbara Henley, RNDM.
